Selwyn W. Hinds Jr. A.k.a Nyche , was born in the island of St.croix in August 11, To a very musicly inclined family. In his early ages he would watch his mom, aunt and uncle's play various instruments and sing with each other frequently. Not to long after he moved to the South section of the Bronx, Forest Projects to be exact and remained in that area for some years. He would play the piano side by side with his mom who was his number one fan and mentor. By age 11 he would begain writing poetry and not to long after began joining local cyphers in his neighborhood, He was usually the youngest but had a special gift of captivating the ears of the crowd, Grabbing people as they walked by almost magneticly. Through his teen age years in the late 90's he grew alot more polished and began callaborating with local artist and producers in his area 163rd and Kelly street. He soon began producing his own music and that elevated his creativity to a nother level, at the time there weren't much rappers who can actually produce on a level were it could actually work and be respected. He then moved to the north section of the Bronx we're he met many new artist like his main man Breezy, and other producers. Shortly after that he was connected with rap legend FatJoe. In the earlier 2000's he featured on B.E.T the MY BLOCK segment with MADD LINXX courtesy of FatJoe and he rapped his soul off. This grabbed the attention of many people, industry wise and listeners. It elevated his notariaty. By 2011 he was a different kind of beast. Him and his team lead by His older cousin O.b and closest friend Kstacks. They were able to land a top 5 dead or alive feature from rap legend JadaKiss on his first major release and it reached all top major radio stations, television stations and platforms with out a record deal. The song was titled Red Light Green Light and tho it wasn't the lyricle, metaphorical street record people expected, It did excactly what it was supposed to do. He then went on to do records with rap legend Camron, B-stilley of the nappy roots and the list goes on. Through the ups and downs and changes in the rap world he maintained his composure and still strives to brake through even after it all went on to release more mixtapes, singles and mixtape albums and keep his fan base tuned in. He still strives to reach his peak and has so much more in store.
